Asalaamu alaikum warahmatullahi
wabarakatu :)
I've received a number of
comments and queries regarding the issue of donations in recent months and so
decided to set up this page.
Firstly may Allah shower an
immense reward upon all of you who inquired about donating to this site and
also upon all those who regularly offer Sadaqah, both secretly
and openly, seeking only Allah's Face, because they firmly believe in what He
sent down. Those who donate as much as they can afford from their own wealth to various charitable
projects, from feeding the destitute, providing emergency relief for the
stricken, supporting orphans, to the building of masajids and schools.
Allah the Supreme says in His Exalted Revelation;
"This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a
guidance for those conscious of Allah. Who believe in the Unseen,
establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them, And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what
was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in
faith]. Those are upon [right]
guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful."
Al Baqarah (2) 2-5
Please
continue to give what you can from your wealth before death overcomes you, as
Allah Azzawajal also says;
"Those who spend their wealth [in Allah
's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their
reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will
they grieve."
Al
Baqarah (2) 274
"And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided
you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You
would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the
righteous."
Al Munaafiqoon (63) 10
It was narrated by Abu Huraira (radhi Allahu anhu) that A
man asked the Prophet, "O Allah's Messenger (sallAllahu alayhi wassallam)!
What kind of charity is the best?" He replied, "To give in charity
when you are healthy and greedy hoping to be wealthy and afraid of becoming
poor. Don't delay giving in charity till the time when you are on the death bed
when you say, 'Give so much to so and so and so much to so and so,' and at that
time the property is not yours but it belongs to so and so (i.e. your
inheritors)."
Sahih al Bukhari Book 55, Hadith 11
This
site was set up in 2009 seeking only the Pleasure of Allah without the niyyah
of earning financial gain. There are no ads, affiliations or donate buttons. It doesn't
actually cost anything to run because it is hosted free by Blogger. All it
requires is the time of the contributors.
Please
make Du'a for us that we post only what is relevant, authentic and correct.
Undoubtedly the best way by which
any of us can contribute is by adopting the Sunnah into our lives so that it is
practiced daily and adheres in our hearts and minds. This is where love and
affection for the Deen of Allah and the Seerah of His Final Messenger
(sallAllahu alayhi wassallam) comes from. Educating our children upon Istiqama
is also compulsory.
If you would like to make a
donation, may Allah shower His blessings upon you :)
The Palestine Red Crescent work tirelessly night and day to provide emergency relief
for those who are desperately in need. We must remember that the pleas of our Ghazan brothers and sisters to
Allah for His Help never stop and the distress they suffer is far more severe
than our own.
Please consider making a small
donation to support them today;
The
Palestine Red Crescent Society -
May Allah, our Guardian and Healer, accept it from us and from you, and reward you in this life and the next and keep you in good health.
:)
